Birding by Ear

Join us for the last indoor Birding by Ear meeting of the season. The day will begin with resources and plenty of bird songs to try and identify. We’ll review some of the birds we might hear in this area at this time of year. Following the educational portion of the day we’ll try our hand at crafting. We will be using found materials like sticks, logs, and pinecones to make some healthy snacks for our feathered friends. You can take these home to make sure your flighty friends stay nourished while they are welcomed back home from their winter away.
After this meeting, we too are hitting the open road and testing out our birding skills in preparation for the International Blind Birder Bird-a-Thon in May.
