Trader Joe’s and Lunch

Join Center volunteers and staff as we go on a shopping adventure. In an effort not to buy the whole store and the ability to buy refrigerated goods, we will be stopping for lunch before we shop.

Trader Joe's is special because of its private-label products, low and stable prices, and fun, treasure-hunt shopping experience. Unlike normal grocery stores, it keeps costs down by skipping middleman brands and selling items directly under its own name.
