Twelfth Night Medieval Feast
–
January 24, 2026
The Norwich Lions Club will host an authentic Twelfth Night Medieval Feast Celebration on Saturday, January 24, from 7 to 10 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church in Yantic. Enjoy 15th-century–style feasting, dancing, song, and merriment under the rule of the “Lord of Misrule,” chosen by the guest who discovers a hidden bean.
The menu will be prepared using recipes from The Forme of Cury, a book compiled by the master cooks of King Richard II in 1390. These will include a cream cheese custard tart known as a daryole, a salad with various herbs, chicken cooked in milk and honey, roast pork, and a variety of other dishes. This event, produced by historian Dale Plummer, marks the end of the Holiday season.
Tickets are $40 for Center Members and $55 for Non-Members, proceeds to benefit the South East CT Community Center of the Blind.
